It's too late, it's getting early now 6 am and you're still on the prowl. I can’t sleep till you're home safe (I got a feeling) I got a feeling I’ll be waiting Seasons change when you go away Winter's coming and it's here to stay. Our summer love is a thing of the past But, how could it last when I’m always looking for (Trouble) When love comes back I keep losing it (Trouble) Still walking backwards and talking shit (Seasons of trouble) Whenever you hear a knock at your door (Trouble) You know just what I’m looking for Seasons of trouble It's a shame how you left me no phone call, baby out on the corner of Broadway and Lonely wondering what went wrong It's a game babe I'm losing over and over now how can I blame you for choosing loving for leaving When I’m just a fool who’s always looking for trouble (Trouble) When love comes back I keep losing it (Trouble) Still walking backwards and talking shit (Seasons of Trouble) Whenever you hear a knock at your door (Trouble) You know just what I’m looking for, babe (Trouble) When the spring comes I’ll still be no good (Trouble) And you can move to that new neighborhood. (Trouble) Whenever you hear that KNOCK at your door. (Trouble) It won’t be me that you're looking for New Seasons of trouble, babe Seasons of you (Seasons of trouble Seasons of trouble Seasons of trouble, babe) Well... (Trouble) When love comes back I keep losing it (Trouble) Still walking backwards and talking shit (Seasons of trouble) When you hear that knock knock at your door (Trouble) You know just what I’m looking for, babe (Trouble) When the spring comes I’ll still be no good (Trouble) And you can move to that new neighborhood. about

The year 2022 has seen Philadelphia band Stereo League continue their thrilling sonic evolution. On their latest 7” Operator, Please / Seasons of Trouble, the band, comprised of childhood friends Alex Savoth and Dan King, resumed their fruitful partnership with the synth & soul record label and production crew Eraserhood Sound. Following the success of the group’s 2021 EP Endless Mirage, the band, again under the guidance of EHS, have created two more timeless, soulful songs, each with their own unique personality. The A side “Operator, Please” is a swampy, seductive throwback to 70s soul and funk, evoking the indelible Southern sound from classic labels like Hi and Cat. The flip side “Seasons of Trouble” puts a bowtie on the funk, taking its cues from the classic Philly soul of The Delfonics, The O’Jays, and more. Each song features lead singer Alex Savoth's powerful, enchanting voice, as he brings plaintive emotion to songs about love and longing. Stereo League, who recently performed at the 2022 Philly Music Fest with Mt. Joy and enjoyed a run of tour dates with UK rockers The Heavy Heavy, believe this release to be the clearest and best representation of their vision to date.
